For Dr. Adolphus Jackson, dentistry has always been about more than teeth — it’s about people. His mission is to provide excellent dental care while helping every patient feel confident, respected, and at ease. Known for his compassionate approach and calm presence, Dr. Jackson believes that caring for a smile also means caring for the person behind it.
Dr. Jackson’s journey is one of resilience, faith, and purpose. As the ninth of eleven children, he grew up in a Birmingham neighborhood known as “The Bottom.” Though resources were limited, the strength of the community shaped his determination and commitment to service. That foundation continues to guide him today.
A proud product of Birmingham City Schools, Dr. Jackson went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. After graduating, he made the intentional decision to open his practice just blocks from his childhood home — giving back to the community that helped shape the man he is today.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jackson has exemplified servant leadership. In addition to caring for generations of families, he provides comprehensive dental care for veterans and active military members through government-supported programs. His dedication to service extends internationally, as he has coordinated and participated in medical missions to Ghana, Venezuela, Liberia, and Haiti, delivering care to communities in need.
Dr. Jackson earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and remains deeply committed to continuing education. Dr. Jackson serves as a member of the State of Alabama Dental Board, helping guide the future of dentistry across the state and each year, he participates in local, regional, and national dental conferences and seminars to stay current with the latest advancements in dental care. This ongoing education ensures his patients receive treatment that is safe, comfortable, and effective.
A Birmingham native, Dr. Jackson is married to his soulmate, Diann, and is the proud father of six children: Jasmine, Adolphus, Justin, Charity, Julian, and Joy Rosa. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys spending quality time with family, dancing, traveling, and staying active in his church.
Dr. Jackson believes he has a spiritual obligation to uplift others and improve the lives of those he encounters. Whether serving locally or abroad, he remains committed to being a positive force in his community and beyond.
